What this page covers

QuickCalcs ("we," "us") provides free online calculators at quickcalcs.org. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the site, how cookies and advertising work here, and how to reach us with questions.

Calculator inputs stay on your device

The numbers and dates you enter into our calculators (loan amounts, birthdates, text you paste into the word counter, and so on) are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. We do not receive, transmit, or store any of that input on our servers. Refreshing or closing the page clears it.

Two exceptions send a request beyond your browser, both clearly disclosed on the relevant tool: the currency converter fetches live exchange rates from a third-party rate provider, and the IP lookup tool queries a third-party service to show you your own public IP address. Neither sends your calculator inputs anywhere.

Cookies and advertising

QuickCalcs is supported by advertising. We and our advertising partners, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads and measure their performance. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, and you can learn more about how Google uses data from partner sites at Google's "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" page.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, the name, email address, and message you submit are sent to our inbox via a third-party form-processing service, solely to let us reply to you. We don't use it for marketing or share it with anyone else.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which calculators are used and how the site performs, in aggregate. This does not identify you personally.

Your choices

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies may affect ad personalization but won't stop any calculator from working, since the calculators themselves don't depend on cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Questions about this policy can go to our contact page.
